E-Bike: 2 Day

This event hosts our e-bike race! The E-lectric E-bike E-xperience is its own race on the 2 Day.

The e–bike riders will ride day 2 when the main field rides day 1, and then day 1 when the main field rides day 2 with plenty of e-bike support just for you.

Hybrid teams are welcome to join the rest of the main field. Please see FAQ’s below and our e–bike rules for Hybrid teams.

E-Bike: Descent

We only allow hybrid teams into this event. No solo e-bikers or e-bike teams are allowed to participate in this event. A hybrid team is a normal bike riding with an e-bike partner, and no battery changes allowed as it’s not an e-bike race.

Do we love e-bikes?

Yes we do! Please follow our rules to ensure we can keep everyone happy.

Can I have a battery change?

Yes, but only on the 2 day e-bike race.

Is the route marked?

GPS marked only.

Are there prizes?

We will have trophies for top 3 mens and ladies solo on the 2 day e-bike race.

When do we start each day?

30 minutes after the last batch, approx. 9:30 but we will advise at registration.

How do I charge my bike at the race village?

We have a dedicated e-bike charging area just for your batteries!

How do I sign up for the E-lectric E-bike E-xperience?

Click solo e-bike on your entry on Howler.

E-Bike: Rules

Hybrid Teams only in the traditional 2-Day (One e-bike, one standard mountain bike)
Solo e-bikes will join the NEW separate e-bike race in the 2-Day event called the “E-lectric E-Bike E-xperience”
Due to the remote nature of our refreshment stations, Berg & Bush is a one-battery event and no extra batteries will be allowed
Hybrid teams of e-bikes and traditional bikes will start in D Batch
No prizes for hybrid teams.
